Software Upgrades
A-Stack has a built-in framework to keep the Stack up-to-date with latest releases. It covers following features:
- Two modes to check for software upgrades - Manual or Automatic.
- Patches (Hot-fixes) or major/minor releases are published to Atomiton Cloud by Atomiton Team.
- A-Stack checks for newly available patches / releases and notifies the administrators / users.
- In case of automatic software upgrade policy setting the upgrades are applied by A-Stack.
- A-Stack software upgrades support complete roll-back incase of failures encountered.
What can be upgraded?
- By default - complete A-Stack software is automatically covered.
- A-Stack upgrade framework can be used in some cases to bundle patches of the host OS themselves.
