Prepare early for your mid-term project

You are required to create and demo a mid-term project. Steps:

  1. Form teams. Use this post to list your team: https://tqler.slack.com/files/jren/F12AU2Y3S/Class_2_teams. You can also directly edit it from Slack #tql101-class2 channel.

  2. Review the mid-term project requirements

  3. Select a demo time slot - we will use the regular class time, starting from the week of May 9, 16, 23, 30 (2-3 teams each week). The sign up mechanism will be provided once teams are formed.

  4. Start working on it and get help if you need

  5. Your mid-term project can be continued into your final project

Plan early for final project and competition
  • The final project and graduation criteria is here. Plan ahead.

  • The same project can be submitted for the TQLOne Competition at the end of July. All class members (1, 2,3 and local meetups) will be in the same competition. Awarding $7,500 to top 3. Find out more here.

Recommending someone for Class3
  • Class 3 is starting in mid-May with class size increased to 88

  • It will be announced this weekend. About 1/3 of the slots are already filled.

  • If you would like to recommend people, send me (Jane) a direct message or email. Please note they need to be qualified software engineers (because this training is for hands on IoT)
