Goal

The TQLOne Sub-Competition aims to select and recognize innovative and meaningful IoT applications built in TQL by TQL101 class teams.

Sub-Competition Prizes

Winners: First Place: $500 | Second Place: $250

TQL Heroes: $250

Note: the same team can be both a Winner and a TQL Hero - the two are not exclusive of each other.

Project Submission

 You can submit your project in one or both of the two forms:

1. Video: a video presentation demo of your project

2. Presentation: a powerpoint (or other form) of presentation to explain your project.

Note: TQL101 project demo is a prerequisite for submitting for the competition.

TQLOne Winner Selection

The TQLOne Sub-Competition winners are selected based on the evaluation criteria by the Atomiton TQL team.

TQL Hero Winner Selection

The TQL Heroes are selected based on popular votes (likes) collected on project videos published on YouTube. The general public (everyone, your friends, colleagues) has the right to vote "likes".

Participants are encouraged to mobilize their friends and families in the popular liking. 

Timeline:

  • Jan 14th: Submission deadline
  • Jan 30th: Winners and heros announced


Evaluation Criteria

Atomiton is providing the following guidelines for evaluating projects.

A good project submission should have the following components:

A. Good architecture design | B. Meaningful use case(s) | C. Practical hardware setup | D. Explained learning points

E. Well designed models (including models, model facets, macros, etc.) - evaluated from the TQL101 project demo

F. Engaging UI

Video Guidelines

Videos that meet the following criteria will be accepted:

1. Strictly related to the TQLOne project, with appropriate content

2. Less than 10 minutes in duration

3. You can upload on your own YouTube channel and send the video link to TQLOne@atomiton.com

4. Alternatively, you can use Atomiton's YouTube channel. Please send an email to TQLOne@atomiton.com to request uploading assistance.
